BACKGROUND INFORMATION
After about a year of discussions between some members of the American Unitarian Conference (AUC), Rev. Robert Dorris and Paul Yonge met in Atlanta during April of 2008 to agree on the formation of the Unitarian Community. Rev. Dorris has been an ordained minister since 1991 and currently serves on the AUC board of directors. Yonge administers the Unitarian Laity League and served as an AUC director during 2002 and 2003.
